Descriptions

Silver Splash - Designed to tone muscles and increase cardiovascular circulation. Class is conducted in waist-high water. Participants do not need to know how to swim.

 

Body Conditioning - Combines group calisthenics, strength training, and flexibility. Using hand weights, tubing and other equipment to improve muscular strength, tone and joint stability.

 

Cardio Kickboxing - Combines traditional kickboxing moves to develop strength, power, and cardiovascular fitness. Participants of all levels are welcome.


 

Abs N Butt-  Strengthen and stretch all the core muscles especially the hamstrings and glute muscles. Enjoy this energizing and motivating class.


Zumba-  Cardio Dance class influenced by Latin Beats. Great cardio workout and lots of fun!!


Cycling-  Each participant uses a super smooth studio exercise bike. Set to inspirational music, the instructor leads the class through a challenging workout!!

Silver Sneakers- Muscular Strength & Range of Movement Conditioning Move through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and skills required during activities for daily living (ADLs). Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and /or standing support.

Safety Tips & Suggestion

* Introduce yourself to the instructor before class.

Advise the instructor if you have specific medical and / or orthopedic problems. (Hypertension, taking medication, back or knee injuries.)

Abdominal exercises are always done at the end of each class to complete your workout.

Listen to your body; pushing too hard can result in injury.

Above all, remember this is supposed to be fun! Start slow and go at your own pace.

 

 

Polices

*   Classes are free to members.

* Must be 18 years. and older to partake in-group exercise classes.

Proper workout attire is required (sweats, tights, biking shorts, T-shirts, sneakers).

No food, drink or chewing gum allowed in the Fitness Areas.

* No gym bags, pocketbooks or coats allowed in Wellness Center or studios. Please use lockers and a secure lock.
